OUR STORY

From Aftermarket Parts Maker to 1st-Tier Supplier for Leading OEMs in Thailand

SHIMIZU Manufacturing (Thailand) was founded in 1994 as Hy-Fit Manufacturing, producing hydraulic system components for the construction and machinery aftermarket. In 1995, the company entered a joint venture with SHIMIZU Manufacturing Co., Ltd. of Japan and was renamed SHIMIZU Manufacturing (Thailand). From 1995 to 1999 the company exported 100% of its output to SHIMIZU Japan, before beginning to expand its domestic customer base from 2000 onward. Today, SHIMIZU is a 1st-tier supplier to leading OEMs in Thailand, while continuing to export to Japanese customers.

Founded as Hy-Fit Manufacturing, producing hydraulic system components

1995

Joint venture with SHIMIZU Japan; renamed SHIMIZU Manufacturing (Thailand)

1995–99

Exported 100% of output to SHIMIZU Japan

2000

Began expanding domestic customer base with BKC, SKC, and other sub-tier customers

2001

Began supplying BKC — Bangkok Komatsu

2005

Began supplying SKCN — Siam Kubota Navanakorn

2011

Began supplying SKCA — Siam Kubota Amata Nakorn

2015

Began supplying KET — Kubota Engine Thailand

2016

Began supplying KRDA — Kubota R&D Asia

2020

Began supplying KPMT; appointed a BKC Thai Midorikai member
